Turn your lemonade stand, pool umbrella, or ceiling into a “lemon tree” with the help of some yellow balloons and crepe paper leaves.
What You’ll Need:
- Green String
- Yellow Balloons
- Lemon Leaf Template
- Green Crepe Paper
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
How To:
Step 1 Print Lemon Leaf Template and cut out leaf shape. Place leaf shape on top of crepe paper, making sure that the grooves in the crepe paper run lengthwise from the top to bottom and cut out crepe paper lead. Using your thumbs, press out from the middle of each leaf for a bowing effect. Punch a hole at the top of each crepe paper leaf.
Step 2 Blow up yellow balloons and knot at the ends. Cut green string to the desired length of your garland. Cut another length of string, about two feet long and thread through hole, tying leaf to balloon knot at one end.
Step 3 Tie the other end of the string to your garland and repeat until the garland is as full of “lemons” as you would like.
