Darcy Miller Designs_Halloween_Brownie Graveyard

Give a new meaning to “death by chocolate” with a cemetery made out of brownies, crushed cookies, and candy bars, topped by paper tombstones. It’s a sweet finish that will haunt your party guests’ dreams.

What You’ll Need:

  • Tombstone template
  • Heavy paper or cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Toothpicks
  • Tape
  • Triple batch of your brownie recipe (or, 3 boxes of store-bought mix)
  • Chocolate frosting
  • 9 X 13 Springform pan (Optional, but it makes plating the “graveyard” easier. If you don’t have a springform pan, line the sides and bottom of a 9X 13 pan with parchment.)
  • Serving tray
  • Chocolate wafer cookies
  • Snack-size Kit-Kat Bars

How to:

  1. Bake three batches of brownies in one pan, let cool and place on tray
  2. Crush chocolate wafers and spread on top of brownies until the entire surface is covered
  3. Press Kit-Kats into sides of graveyard using frosting to attach to create fenceposts
  4. Download Tombstone template, print onto heavy paper
  5. Cut out tombstones and tape to toothpicks
  6. Stick tombstones to complete brownie graveyard
