This Halloween, let the cat out of the bag—get it ON the bag instead, with this adorable kitty-face sack to hold all your goodies. It’s an ideal accessory for a wicked(ly chic) little witch, but goes with any costume purr-fectly.
What You’ll Need
- Trick or Treat Bag Template
- One sheet of white paper
- White colored pencil
- Scissors
- Black Canvas Bag
- Black felt
- Green felt
- Pink felt
- Three glittery silver pipe cleaners
- Tacky glue or hot glue
How-To:
Step 1 Download Cat’s Meow Bag Template, print onto paper, and cut out pieces
Step 2 Using the paper template and a white colored pencil, trace two large triangles onto black felt and cut out “ears”
Step 3 Trace three smaller triangles onto pink felt and cut out “inner ears” and “nose”
Step 4 Trace small ovals onto green felt and cut out “eyes”
Step 5 Glue pink ear triangles onto black triangles to make ears, then attach ears to bag handles using tacky glue or hot glue, and let dry.
Step 6 Glue green eyes to bag with tacky glue or hot glue.
Step 7 Cross three pipe cleaners across each other as shown to make “whiskers” and glue pink nose in the center on top of them to secure in place.
Step 8 Let bag dry and head out on the prowl.
