Darcy Miller Gold Cakes How To

Nothing says “party” like a cake—even when it’s not the kind you’ll be eating. These paper cakes can be brought out for celebration after celebration, no matter the occasion. (Thanks to my friend David Stark at David Stark design who crafted these cakes for a birthday party I threw for Martha Stewart.)

Step 3 Cut 2 small slits in top of straw and slip in paper flame to create a “candle.” Attach the base of the candle to the top of the cake using the glue gun.
