You don’t need a pumpkin to make a Jack O’Lantern! Take an orange paper lantern and “carve” a face on it with a black Sharpie. (Since no knives are involved, it’s a great pumpkin-carving alternative for little kids.) And you don’t need to stop at jack o’lanterns, either. Consider making:
A ghost with a white lantern
Emojis with a yellow lantern
A Zombie with a green lantern
Or
Write spooky sayings on a several and hang them in a group
Draw “portraits” of each other
Top one with a witch’s hat and draw a face
String lights inside to create a spooky glow or light trick or treaters way
Lean them down your table to create a centerpiece for your Halloween party
