Mother’s Day, card, paper craft, creative card, kid’s craft, gift for mom

Moms deserve recognition all year round, but on Mother’s Day especially we celebrate the incredible job they do every day. What better way to let a mom know she’s special than to present her with an award ribbon just for being the awesome person she is? These printable DIY award ribbons, which were inspired by the patterns in my friend Tory Burch’s spring collection, are so easy to make and share. Whatever words you choose to say it with, moms deserve to know how much we appreciate them. This easy to print and make ribbon is a great

The ribbons come already colored in if you want an easy ready-to-go option, but there are black and white versions, too, for kids to color. Go with our pre-printed sayings, or print out blank and fill in your own note or nickname for Mama.

And, feel free to get creative here! Use as a bookmark, string a bunch together to make a garland, use as a cake topper, glue to a magnet to put on the fridge, attach to a gift, drop in the mail (on a card, or as the card itself), or even hide a few around the house, each with a different note on them for her to find along the way. Think about other moms you know, too! Your aunt, a sister, grandmother, a best friend, or any mom who inspires you and is doing a great job might love this extra surprise.

Good for Mother’s Day, birthdays, or any day of the year.
