Every room in your home can have a garden view, thanks to this spring wreath made of paper flowers. It’s easy, fun craft activity to do with friends, kids, or bridesmaids at a bridal shower—turn them into decor or flower crowns for a DIY wedding celebration, or a “bouquet” for the bride or bridesmaids to carry at the rehearsal dinner. Just print out our Paper Flowers template, and color it in (using paint, markers, pastels, anything else you have in your craft bin). Then cut out the finished blossoms and leaves, along with the rim of a paper plate to serve as a wreath form; extra blooms can be used for scrapbooking. Now break out a glue stick or glue gun and your inner floral designer and put the wreath together any way you like.

Hang it on your door or wall (we like Command Hooks for indoor hanging), or tape it facing out on your window to spread spring cheer.

What you’ll need:

  • Spring Flowers and Leaves Templates
  • White paper or cardstock (or colored paper for a more graphic look)
  • Coloring tools: crayons, colored pencils, watercolor paints and brushes, pastels, etc.
  • Scissors
  • A paper plate or piece of cardboard
  • Glue (any kind will do: hot glue, glue sticks, rubber cement, paper glue, craft glue, glue dots, etc.) or tape (doublestick is best but you can use regular tape and just make a roll)

Step 1 Print out the templates on cardstock or paper. It took two of each set to make the wreath shown here.

Step 2 Color in the flowers and leaves using your medium of choice.

Step 3 Let your masterpieces dry and then cut out

Step 4 Cut out the center of a paper plate, leaving about a 1” border. Alternatively you can trace a plate on a spare piece of cardboard and cut out the center of the cardboard circle, leaving a 1” border, to create a wreath form.

Step 5  Arrange the blossoms and leaves on the wreath form however you like.

Step 6 Use tape or glue to attach the paper flowers and leaves to the wreath.

Step 7  Hang the wreath somewhere where it will make you smile!
